Contributors Of The Week 2017-09-11

This week we’re recognizing…

All past Contributors Of The Week!

Over the recent years we’ve received several emails requesting we create a permanent badge to acknowledge those members who have been recognized in the past as Contributors of the Week.

So today I will be starting to add a Red Barn badge to the profiles off all active members who have been recognized as a POI COW.

In the future, all COW’s will continue to get the Golden Trophy badge for their recognition week. At the end of the week they’ll be provided a Red Barn to enjoy as they come in from their time the pasture.

Please be patient, this process will take a while. I have over a decade of COW’s to sift through in between RLC and Speed Camera research.

Thank you all for your contributions.

That is a

very fine idea.

Thanks.

Thanks Angela.

What a nice idea! It does sound like a lot of work, especially tracking down those weeks where the COW was awarded to multiple recipients. I always thought it would be nice to have some kind of recognition on the user's profile page listing the dates they had received the COW award as so many deserving members have received the award many times.

A red barn to put all the COW's into. Novel idea Angela.

As an aside many, many years ago even before McDonalds here, we had a small chain of fast food restaurants called "Red Barn", I still remember them for their wonderful hot dogs.

Could it be that

With appreciative and favorable comments from past COWs running more than 2:1 compared non-COW recipient members it looks like we have a very small active group that are praising their newly added Red Barn, and an even smaller number of non-COW members offering their congratulations and/or approval related comments. I presume there are far more non-COW members than Red Barn COW members. Could it be that many non-COW members might find this new recognition a bit arrogant to them? I'm somewhat baffled by the weak number of non-COW members providing their congratulations and approval...

Craig I don't think POUTINE was even a glimmer in a Quebecker's eyes yet.

t923347, I wonder if the "Hot Dogs" were a local speciality, don't see them on the menu. Thanks for the post.
