Contributors Of The Week 2023-04-10

This week we're recognizing four (4) people who shared personal stories about their (or their partner's) cancer experience:

soberbyker, Frside007, mgarledge, and maddog67

And also, nine (9) honorable mentions for the others who expressed support in the same discussion thread:

FreddyP, phranc, charlesd45, Juggernaut, johnm405, johnnatash4, Seapup, MikeG1, and garmin-nuvi-user.

Coming together to support each other through difficult times is, I believe, one of life's better qualities.

Thank you all for sharing kindly.

Congrats to all four

Congratulations to soberbyker, Frside007, mgarledge, and maddog67, and the honorable mentions too. Thanks JM for the recognition choice, and to all for sharing in a different and personal way this time. Though very few of us have ever met in person, there is certainly relationship after contributing and exchanging thoughts for well over a decade... nearing two decades in some cases. With so much divisiveness in the world and especially here in the USA today, it warms the heart to see and be a part of a notable exception to all of that. Prayers for all who have or are dealing with cancer... which includes my wife, a melanoma survivor by the grace of God. Enjoy your week up on the C.O.W. marquee all!

Congratulations and thanks for sharing!

Thanks to all for the kind comments

As I stated, I had prostate cancer. Usually, this is one of the easier cancers to treat. I had Cyberknife in November of 2021 and my PSA numbers have been dropping ever sense. There are other types of cancer that are harder to treat and may take months or even years of treatment to achieve a cure. But, treatments and cures are getting better as time goes by. Hopefully, a cure for all types of cancer will not be too far in the future. Thanks again for all of your support and kind words. Soberbyker: Know that you are in my thoughts.
