garmin drivesmart 66 ex POI

I have a new Garmin drivesmart 66 ex. It does not display any of my POI on my route like my previous Germin did. I have loaded the POI as I usually do with the POI Loader..

Also, I cannot find a traffic cable that would connect to it, any suggestions.

Thanks

Well

What was your previous Garmin? For later ones you need to ensure you have turned on Up ahead places in Settings->Map&Vehicle->Map Layers

As for a traffic cable I don't have your model but modern Garmins get traffic info by linking to your phone, it will be explained in the manual for your device.

Cell Phone Traffic through Garmin Drive Far Superior

I upgrade to a DriveSmmart 65 and I find that the traffic through the cell phone gives far superior traffic coverage. The FM traffic doesn't get traffic in many cities and this gets almost all areas. I'm in Kitchener, ON about 60 miles west of Toronto and I can't get the FM Traffic, despite living in a region with about 600,000 population. I do get great cell phone traffic info.

If you're worried about data usage, DON'T. I tracked data usage and it's only 1-2 Mb per hour. That's next to nothing.

Load the Garmin Drive app and give it a try.
