Verizon

is a joke. Just when they got done ripping us off for cellular, they backed the truck up and FiOS went up $15/mo. I looked to see what other plans are available, and the next one is $55 more on top of that. I googled and the complaints are all the same.

see the price of extra virgin olive oil? At Costco whom I would think is competitive, over $45/gal. I at times feel like I'm living in a fantasy world lol

I did tell my wife 6 mos ago deep frying is for rich people cuz canola was over $10/gal.

amazing how much we rely upon our cars.

It took Costco 3 weeks to get a replacement tire under a road hazard warranty. I dunno if it's a low priority or what, because one would think items take 2-5 days tops to ship across the country. This is the 2nd time.

To avoid driving on the compact spare, I've been driving the garage queen to work while my wife drove my car.

Thursday I noticed the garage queen's left DRL is burned out. I changed the right side in 2016, cutting my hand with blood dripping all over, dropped the H8 bulb into the housing, what a mess. This time I was prepared and the very same thing happened on the left side, but I didn't panic, I just accepted the cut which was not as severe and no bleeding. But the bulb dropped down like a self fulfilled prophecy.

I found a rim like my wife's for $56 obo--so I offered $50 and declined lol I tell myself the seller saved me $59.36 so he can sit on his rim as long as he likes (although eBay trends at $106). He did say obo.

At any rate I told my coworkers I'll be driving a V8 in 2050, I don't follow trends.

p.s. maybe the unrepairable tire was a blessing. We have 3 tires of one kind and 1 of another. Now, there will be 2 of one kind and 2 of another kind. As ghetto as it sounds we can't be spending $1,000 just because one got damaged so they all match

another week begins

that's no good. But at least it's playoff hockey time.

My team is out, but I have a team to wholeheartedly root for. My wife's cousin's team, since he's an AGM with the organization.

It's interesting when one loves a sport so much that they can't get enough. I even watch 15 y.o.'s play. I often thought to myself I'd watch 6 y.o. but that's pushing it lol

I figure this stuff is good when retired one day, won't be bored.

Also changed the DRL bulb in one car, kinda a joke since a human hand can't fit and can't get the bulb aligned. But it can be done and I did a better job than 2016 when on the other side I sliced my hand wide open and blood was everywhere. I still sliced my hand, just didn't bleed. And yes, I also dropped the bulb down like in 2016. Simple jobs that aren't lol
