Contributors of the week 2007-12-31

This week we are recognizing 3 people;) Hornbyp, Lee Preston and Perrdom.

Hornbyp, I think that you have finally accepted your POI Factory addiction with your whole heart. I have noticed a spike in your activity over the last few weeks. It is really great that you have been around to assist the new members during this time of growth for the site. I never thought that one of our biggest supporters would be helping all the way from England. You give so much to our community but we really don't have much in the way of Points of interest that would help you in the UK.

Lee Preston, I had not ever heard of Church's Chicken until your files hit the moderation queue. I think that I will need to go find one of these locations and see what has you so enthusiastic. Thanks for doing such a great job with these files, we really appreciate it.

Perrdom, You have been a busy little Canadian this week. What entertains me most about your contributions is that you make sure to make a corresponding USA file to go along with the Canadian one. I think that the other POI File builders can learn a lot from that. Don't forget the Canada locations, they are an important part of this community too;)

Another fantastic week everyone. Our new server has been ordered and Jon is getting it set up and prepared to make the move this week.

Miss POI

Freedom isn't free...thank you veterans! Heard about the tests to detect PANCREATIC CANCER? There aren't any! In Memoriam: #77 NYPD-SCA/Seattle Mike/Joe S./Vinny D./RTC!

Thanks personally

Thanks personally to both of you. Hornbyp for helping me to better understand the workings of my c550 (and I'm envious of all those medals on you chest) and LPreston for posting Church's Chicken which I was doing (with great frustration) for Florida only. It was great working with you. Kudos to both of you!

Thanks for the Warm Fuzzies

A Big Thank You Miss POI for the kind comments and also a big thanks to SEWisdom for encouraging me to continue adding POIs for other States than the few I had originally posted. I confess I LOVE Churchs Chicken, not only because their Chicken is the best tasting of all, but also because my wife is fortunate to be in their employ, responsible for operations in the Western third of the U.S. I originally produced the POIs for all of the Church's restaurants in her territory for use in her Garmin 350. They have saved her countless hours and much frustration. She just asks "Karen", the Australian voice of the 350, to guide her to a resraurant and she is unerringly taken there quickly. I plan to add POIs of Church's Chicken in every State they reside as soon as possible, to ensure that those who have, as do I, Church's Lust, the ability to unerringly proceed to their nearest outlet and satisfy that overwhelming craving.

Regards,
Lee Preston

Great Job

Thanks to all of you for your great contributions. I'm glad to see your efforts didn't go unnoticed. You're very deserving of your awards.
