GPX files

How do I open GPX files, my computer doesn't recognize that file extension. I searched on line, but got junk sites.I'm trying to load them to my gps.

Text Editor

You can just use a text editor (notepad for example) although for the casual user GPX files can be a bit intimidating to understand and would recommend you use Extra POI Editor. Links below for the software and some setup info. If you do a search here you will find several articles on its use. Great software to edit GPX (or csv) versions of poi files

GPX files

I know you asked how to open them and Gastx gave you a way, but to load them to the GPS you use Poi loader.

.

After you install POI Editor, 'associate' the file type to it. Click it, and POI Editor opens. Voila.
